Tutors seeking employment with Lifetime Learners are required to have:
- Australian recognized qualifications in your subject specialization equivalent to at least Bachelor's Degree level at an Australian University
We may also require you to have:
- Australian recognized qualifications in Education,Teaching, TESOL or Training & Assessment equivalent to at least Cert IV level at an Australian College of TAFE or an Australian University or
- Demonstrated extensive experience or a record of research/publication in your field of specialization
Plus
- Current knowledge of their subject and the curriculum in their State or Territory
- A current Working With Children Check in your State or Territory
Your Application will be highly regarded if:
- You have current relevant professional registration in your State or Territory
- You have current or recent classroom practice in Australian Schools, TAFE or University
- You have previous successful tutoring experience
- You have membership of relevant professional organisations
Undergraduate Students
Lifetime Learners does not generally accept applications from undergraduate students unless they meet the following criteria:
- You are currently enrolled and studying at an Australian University
- You are not currently taking a break from your studies
- You are in at least your 2nd year of study
- You can demonstrate an excellent academic record
- You can demonstrate an excellent knowledge of your subject
We also prefer that you:
- Are a pre-service teacher
or
- Can demonstrate at least two (2) years of successful tutoring experience
