To teach with us you will need:

To be an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia

To be able to communicate effectively using standard Australian English (spoken & written)

To possess Australian recognised qualifications in education as well as Australian recognised qualifications in your subject specialization of at least undergraduate degree level

To hold current teacher registration and/or current positive child protection certification in your State or Territory

Recent or current classroom teaching experience in Australian schools is highly regarded.
To tutor with us you will need:

Further Information:
All successful applicants will be required to provide proof of identity, certified copies of academic transcripts, certified copies of documents confirming suitability to work with children in accordance with legislative requirements in their State of residence/engagement. Home tutors will be required to have their own vehicle & a current drivers licence issued in their State of residence. All tutors need to be able to commit to at least 4 hours per week during school terms. Tutors need to be available during Lifetime Learners' normal business hours: 9am and 8:30pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12:30pm Saturday. School holiday work may also be required. Home tutors must be willing to travel to students' homes after school hours.

Teachers & Tutors employed at Lifetime Learners Learning Centres are engaged as casual employees. We offer competitive rates based on the number of students in your class. Teachers & Tutors employed for home or online tutoring are engaged as self-employed contractors. These Teachers & Tutors will require an "Australian Business Number" "(ABN") and their own insurance. Lifetime Learners prefers contract teachers & tutors who are members of or who are prepared to join The Australian Tutoring Association. |
